28- Exit Strategy
In this post I am going to describe my exit strategy on my helmet business idea. This was not the idea business for me but I did like the design aspect of it. I see this business as a piece to my larger puzzle which is the Baumeister design company. I don’t think it would be something I would sell off but its something that would be included in a collection of products that would be a limited time buy. I like the idea of limited edition and only a certain amount made. It creates a sense of urgency for a consumer so they are more inclined to buy it. Yes this might not make me as much money but it build a brand. It insures trust through the consumer that your brand is something unique. Your brand is something that gives me that uniqueness because I’m only one of a certain amount of people that have this product. I think if I have a strong portfolio of products then this Baumeister design business can be a success.
This exit strategy I feel is the most productive for my brand. If there is anything I have learned in life about business it is that a brand is just as important as its products. You can be super talented at making products but if you do not know how to sell them then you will most likely fail. I hope to one day build a brand that can encompass many ideas, cultures, and products. I think there will be an exit strategy to each product but the brand will be something that last for a long time. I hope to inspire individuals to express their own creativity. Creativity is so important in life and a lot of people overlook that.

Baron,
ReplyDeleteI really like you outlook on life. I too agree that creativity is extremely important. It allows us o showcase who we are and make an impact on people with that. I am glad to hear that you want to keep your brand and not sell it out at the end. It would be nice to cash out for a lot of money, but I think the real reward is keeping your success and brand alive. It leaves a part of you for the world to see and it is much more important that the almighty dollar. I will be keeping a look out for your products and brand in the future. Cheers!
