23- Unfair Advantage

In this post I am going to list all of the valuable resources my start up company offers. I think it is important to do this because I need to find what really sets my business apart from other business like mine. If a business does not have a unique individuality then I think the business is worth less. So heres what makes my business unique:

1. First and most import for my business is the design aspect of it all. I think I have developed a sense of this over multiple blog post. Design is so crucial because a business is a business but good design is hard to come by. I think this quality is pretty rare because most business focus on logistical things rather than an aspect like design.
2. Next, another valuable resource for me is my hard work ethic. I’ve had a job since I was 16 so this set me up very well in the field of business. There are something you just can’t learn in school and that is real world experience. This isn’t as rare but I think it is very important in the field to have experience with customers.
3. Relating to the last point another valuable resource that my business has is social capitol and customer service. When I go into a business I look for good service. I think a companies employees speak the truth about the business. This is actually pretty rare to come by.
4. Next, another valuable resource I have is my problem solving skills. Because I am a architecture student I have the ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively. I think this is not super hard to find but it brings me to my next point.
5. The fifth point I make here is about creativity. Many businesses lack the aesthetic pleasure from the company because an owner did not have the creative mindset from the beginning. This is maybe one of the hardest things to find in a business because it is often overlooked and not invested in.
6. Next, my sixth valuable resource would be my financial capitol. This is a very crucial breaking point in a business. If the owner is not good with handling money then the business has a very good possibility of failing. My background in stocks helps me tremendously with this. This resource is not very hard to find but it is a key stepping stone to grow a successful startup
7. My next resource would be my persistence. The drive and motivation that I have to start a business is key. If there is not motivation to do something or the owner is all in it for the money then the brand will suffer. The integrity of the startup will diminish and the business will loose a following.
8. In my eight valuable resource, I look to my passionate background of marketing. Ever since I was young I have been interest in this field and this has actually helped me with this course. I think this is a golden opportunity that some business miss. One of my recent post goes into marketing by social media and I think that is key in today’s market.
9. Next organization is crucial. I have had trouble with this in the past but I think I have progressively gotten better at this I think this is a really important part of a business because it shows your professional side.
10. Last but not least another valuable resource I have is a great network of people I know. Many people may overlook this too but in business the more connections you have the better. It is pretty hard to find reliable sources of people but once you do you should cherish that.
