15- Figuring Out Buyer Behavior #2

When It comes to products price is often a very big factor. It can be a sign if a product might have more quality than another. I also found that designer items might not always have this highly sought after quality. That gets into my next point and I think that quality does matter. With a product like mine I think that quality and safety especially are key. I would not mind charging a little bit more by creating a truly memorable item. I think they style is what sells most of the customers. Thats why I think my background in design will help me with creating a successful product.

My segment is more likely to buy online but I would like to change that. I think bringing in the innovative idea of pop up shops into my business would promote the brand. This could also be a spot to try on and test products. Customers would most likely be able to use cash or debit/credit card because the product would not cost that much.

I think analyzing people is the perfect way to find why and how people could buy your product. I interviewed a handful of people at the University of Florida and reviews of buying and selling products were very positive. I truly think design has a big impact on the consumer. If they do not want to wear it then they will not buy them. I talked to consumers about bad purchases. They often said it was impulse buys.

I think purchasers we happy with the product I was able to first come up with a concept for. I think the post product decisions were important too. I saw customers happy even after the purchase which I thought was the great for the brand.

  1. Hey Baron,

I agree that price can be a very large factor in buyer behavior. When customers purchase a large ticket item, they most certainly would expect a quality item to go along with it. Personally, I always tend to pay a little more for products I know I will use a lot and need to be top quality. Your idea of a pop up shop is a great one in my opinion. When I lived in NYC, I would constantly see start up doing thee little pop up shops. It really get a buzz circulating drawing in more potential customers. Keep analyzing your target market more and see what really speaks to them.
